"GAMES IN EUROPE-AN ENDLESS STORY"
Welcome to our Erasmus+ KA2 project with partners Primary Schools from Portugal (the coordinator), Hungary, Greece and Cyprus.
We intend, as a 21st century school, to prepare our students for an
academic and professional future on an international scale, promoting the key
skills for today's society (communication, peer collaboration, critical
thinking and creativity) through innovative, dynamic and inclusive teaching methods.
With this project we intend to use games in a regular basis as an
innovative teaching method. We want to use it to improve students' achievements
at the same time we increase their motivation and pleasure of learning.
As Games provide different levels of difficulty and resolution the
project is aimed at students of primary school, including students with learning
disabilities and/or special needs.
Games plays an important role in the social development of individuals.
Indoors or outdoors, individually or in teams, games increase personal and
social skills, such as responsibility, acceptance, tolerance, understanding,
dealing with frustration, collaboration.
Playing games one learns to win and
to loose, the importance of respect, training, focusing, and striving.
